Established in 2008, Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Nalerigu as it is affectionately known has a rich history in its evolution into one of the preferred choice for many applicants over this few years of existence.. Since its inception, the school has lived with this principle and turned out hundreds of enroll nurses who have strived and continue to make immense contributions to the reduction of disability and suffering, morbidity and mortality particularly among marginalized population groups in Ghana.
The motto is “Caring for Humanity is Our Supreme Commitment” with a guiding principle of producing human resource capable of providing health services that is: –

- Extensive in scope
- Economic in cost and yet
- Efficient in quality.
